We adopted a family for Thanksgiving, so the kids and Shannon spent some time at the grocery store picking up all the must have items and some extras to add to the family's pantry. They were nervous when we dropped everything off because the facility was quite bustling.
We adopted a different family at Christmas, and the kids didn't help quite as much with this, although Shannon and Moira did have a shopping trip to pick up the things we couldn't get online.
