We went to the Seattle Children's Museum with a friend. First thing we did was explore the mountain you can see from the eating area in the Armory. Davis was pretending to be a Scorpion Mouse.
He really liked this sewing machine in the Ghanian village area. He quite seriously sat there sewing for a couple of minutes, until the friend got bored and we had to convince him to move on.
There was a fall themed group art project in the art area. Davis made this grumpy corn.
He was very serious about the clay area. The piece he tried to cut a gingerbread person out of wasn't big enough, so then he spent a long time carefully cutting out extra pieces to patch it up with.
A painting of a heart!
There's a clear window to paint or draw on, and then squeegees to clean it off with.
He really liked driving the bus, and took his responsibility seriously, including not letting people get off until he had come to a full stop.
The optometrist area was a hit too, with the kids taking turns being the eye Dr.
Davis also really enjoyed the grocery store and ball area, which are in serious need of upkeep.
