Aregntina Day of Respect for Cultural Diversity

We had our Argentina cultural party, themed around the Day of Respect for Cultural Diversity. Crafts were coloring the flag of the Mapuche people (although I accidentally created a coloring sheet of the Chilean Mapuche, not the Argentinians), making beaded necklaces like the Guarani people, and making hand print pictures like the cave paintings of Nazca.
The kids were mostly into the beading and the flag, but Jennifer made an excellent cave painting.
Davis is getting friendlier with the people we see frequently, yay!
This time the presentations were quite the supersize in paying polite attention. Sammy decided to read an entire long book, but most of the kids managed to be relatively patient and sit mostly still.
Moira showed everyone a Mapuche dance with branches that get passed out to everyone who is watching to encourage them to join the dance.
