This year I put cucumbers and watermelons in our planter box. Moira really likes being able to pick a cucumber to serve with her dinner.
Unfortunately, even with our super warm summer, our watermelon didn't actually ripen.
Both kids are asking if we could have a dinner where we only eat things we grow. I told them we can consider it next summer.
