Davis opened up his Little Passports package to discover that it was all about celebrations, including Chinese New Year. The included activity was celebration crowns, so Moira asked if we could pull out the Chinese New Year activity book I bought, and so we spent the next couple of days doing crafts and getting ready.

Moira made us shrimp with broccoli.
We made lion puppets.
And the kids did a lion dance. The video is upside down.
We made "firecrackers" out of scraps of paper, paper cups, plastic wrap, and rubber bands.
Moira made a to do list for our New Year cleaning. Walker and I were in charge of washing the dishes, she and Davis were in charge of sweeping and tidying.
There was a final dragon and lion dance after chinese new year dinner, plus Moira shot off her fireworks.
