We hosted an art group where the kids made works in the style of Swiss artist, Paul Klee. I talked about how he drew lines that gave an idea of the actual shape of the object he was trying to represent, but then didn't usually use the correct colors to color those shapes in.
Everyone had paper, pastels, and sharpies. They drew their picture in sharpie, and then colored it in with pastels.
Moira had a hard time with the fact that the pastels got smudged. Davis had a hard time drawing a picture this day and wanted me to do it for him, and then only begrudgingly colored it in.
Afterwards we went into Crossroads for lunch and coin rides.
Always fun.
The gallery wall for our Switzerland party. Davis made the dinosaur. Moira made the eggs.
