We had to make a sudden trip to Ruth's dr to get something checked out, and the kids, Ruth, and I all managed to get ready (from pajamas) and into the car in time to make it to the Dr with 45 minutes notice. I was very impressed with our teamwork.
The kids brought their tablets and waited in the waiting room while I went in to physical therapy with Ruth. They stuck together, including to use the restroom, and waited patiently.
