I found a robot dinosaur kit at a thrift store that had all the pieces, so I bought it to bring home. The kids were very interested. It comes with both a winding mechanism to power it, and a solar power cell. Davis helped with most of the assembly.
We didn't have enough sun that day to use the solar power, but they really enjoyed making it walk forward and backwards.
