The kids wanted to do more science, so we pulled out the kit our neighbors gave us. They each picked an activity. Davis picked the color changing volcano for our first thing.
And Moira picked sunset test tubes
The kids took turns doing steps and each mixed one color of crystals for the test tubes.
Then they had to sit and grow.
We took a video of the color changing volcanoes. There were acid and base powders and so the red cabbage powder would change color depending on which one it mixed with.
